Short Bio

Giovanni Zemella is PostDoctoral Fellow at ECLT and Facade Engineer at Ove Arup & Partners Ltd. Graduated in 2005 in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Udine, in 2009 he has got the PhD in Energy Technologies at the University of Udine. He is also working as a facade consultant at Arup Facade Engineering in London, where he deals with the aspects of Building Physics related to design of facades. His main research interests regard the evolutionary algorithms for the optimised design of building envelopes, sustainability in the building industry and renewable energies.
