PhD in Physics, Professor and Center Director at the Center for Fundamental Living Technology,
University of Southern Denmark; External Research Professor, Santa Fe Institute New Mexico, USA.
Worked for 20 years at Los Alamos National Laboratory, New Mexico, USA, functioning as a
leader for the Self-Organizing Systems team. Recently established the Initiative for Science,
Society, and Policy in Denmark. 80+ peer reviewed publications; 170+ invited presentations;
$27M+ in grants since 2003 (PI: $14M+; Co-PI: $13M+); 5 scientific performance rewards.
