Short Bio

Matteo Borrotti collaborates with ECLT and is a Ph.D. Student in Statistics at the University of Bologna. He obtained a Bachelor's degree (2003) and a Master's degree (2006) in Statistics at the University Ca' Foscari of Venice. His thesis focused on the combination of experimental design (DoE) techniques and the genetic algorithms to find the optimal combination for high dimensional biochemical experimentation. In 2006/2007 he attended the Second level International Master in Computational and Systems Biology at the Microsoft Research - University of Trento Centre for Computational and Systems Biology. From the academic year 2007/2008 he is doing a Phd in “Statistical Methodology for Scientific Researches” at the University of Bologna.
